Competition entry for an artwork to be installed in the school’s internal courtyard

Project Description

The basement classrooms look out onto the school’s internal courtyard, which features a glass roof. During breaks, this area serves as a recreational space for students.

The proposed artwork consists of a uniquely shaped stainless steel bench paired with a hollow concrete sphere coated in fake banknotes and transparent epoxy resin. The objective is to raise questions regarding economics and the use of money, providing students with food for thought and starting points for reflection throughout their educational journey.
